Training services in Accra Ghana

Our experts undertake technical and management training, organizational and institutional capacity building to reinforce the capacity of middle, technical and top management level personnel as well as supporting staff in both private and public sector organisations. We aspire to enhance knowledge, skills and competences to provide excellent Managers, Engineers, Technicians and Administrators for the corporate world.

We plan, develop and organize tailor made training programmes that meet client’s specific thematic and managerial related skills needs such as Gender Mainstreaming into Planning Processes, Local Economic Development, Monitoring & Evaluation, Financial Management & Budgeting, Office Management, Records Keeping and Customer Care.

We provide both in-house (on and off site) customized training programmes for corporate organizations, with emphasis on flexibility training programme that meets specific needs of our clients. We periodically organize open training programmes.

We utilize practical participant oriented instructional method in our training delivery. This includes lab simulations, role-play, case studies, syndicate and seminar discussions, class presentations, assigned readings, training videos,writing assignments and filed visits. Major emphasis is placed on adult learning techniques, which underscores the discovery and experiential learning methods. We adopt five (5) staged approach to training as follows:

 

Training Needs Identification: Our training begins with needs identification, using a combination of several techniques including surveys, group recommendations, task identifications, focus group discussions and organizational reports to establish training objectives.

Actual training: Once training needs are established, training outlines are developed and executed to achieve specific needs identified.

Training Evaluation: We adopt a two way approach to evaluation of our training programmes i.e. pre and post training evaluation.  Pre-training evaluation ensures that appropriate training techniques are used in training delivery to suite learners’ learning style as well as meeting their training expectations.  Our post training evaluation is based on four levels of evaluation, i.e. reaction, learning, behaviours and results/effectiveness.  Our evaluation processes also include receipt of ongoing feedback from the learner, trainer and learners supervisor, to improve the quality of the training and identify if the learner achieved the goals of the training.

Feedback: Feedback is an integral part of our approach to training.  We believe that providing feedback to the learner, trainer and learners supervisor helps all parties to improve better in the learning process.

Post training follow-up: In order to ensure that learners implement learning, we assist learners to develop action plans for implementation in their organisations.  We work with organizations to support learners to implement their action plans after the training programme.  This we do by providing follow-up services with backstopping and coaching if necessary. Post training follow-up service is at the discretion of the client.
